Excellent Dental Care Since 1995

Dr. Arpin has been providing excellent and ethical dental care since 1995. Dr. Arpin’s philosophy of care is based on a comprehensive approach to the treatment process. This approach is based on taking into account the condition and health of the entire oral cavity from simple X-rays and checking for cavities and the condition of the teeth and restorations to a more comprehensive evaluation of the supporting periodontal tissue and also an oral cancer screening exam of the soft tissue. From the baseline information obtained during an examination and after listening to a patient's concerns and needs, Dr. Arpin prescribes a treatment plan which will balance the patient’s treatment needs with the patient's "wants." Dr. Arpin’s concern is for your entire oral/dental health, which also plays a role in your overall general physical health.

Dr. Arpin is a Missouri native. He relocated to Cape Girardeau from northwestern Missouri with his family when he was 10 years old. He is a 1987 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He graduated from Saint Louis University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, graduating in 1995.

Experience as a Clinician

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Arpin started his service in the dental profession as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy. His first year with the Navy Dental Corp was spent in a one-year postgraduate training program called an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. After finishing up this one-year residency in 1996, Dr. Arpin relocated to coastal North Carolina, where he spent three years from 1996 to 1999 as a Navy Dentist, serving with the 12th Dental Company, 2nd Dental Battalion at MCAS Cherry Point. After his military service was completed, Dr. Arpin resigned from his commission with the Navy and relocated to the Kansas City, MO, area, where he practiced in a group dental practice from 1999-2002. Dr. Arpin and his family relocated back to Cape Girardeau in June 2002 and joined this practice.

With this in mind, continuing dental education is a very integral part of his practice. Dr. Arpin has accumulated over 1,000 hours of continuing education, so you can rest assured that you'll get the most up-to-date treatment available in a gentle, caring, and compassionate manner.
